Installation, support, and comprehensive control of audiovisual and sound equipment during the 76th National Congress of the SEORL-CCC held in Madrid.
76th SEORL-CCC National Congress
The 76th National Congress of the SEORL-CCC brought together more than 450 speakers and almost a thousand presentations over four days, distributed across 11 simultaneous rooms. The scale of the event required a highly reliable audiovisual setup, with a workflow that ensured continuity between sessions, coordination between technical teams, and the integration of in-person and remote speakers.
In addition, the organization sought to incorporate new presentation formats and improve the visual and technical experience for attendees. Among the new features of this edition were:
- Replacement of the traditional presidential tables with sets of armchairs, which meant a significant increase in wireless microphones.
- Inclusion of dynamic digital signage to identify presentations and round tables.
- The incorporation of interactive screens for viewing scientific posters in digital format.
- The integration of videoconferencing and Zoom broadcasts for the participation of remote speakers.
The challenge was to achieve a centralized, coordinated, and stable audiovisual system that would allow total control of presentations and communications in real time.
Ditec’s solution
Ditec designed and implemented a comprehensive audiovisual solution based on centralized coordination and remote control of presentations from its own server.
- Technical infrastructure:
- 11 rooms fully equipped with professional sound systems, main and reference screens, timing monitors, and dedicated computers for each session.
- Installation of 64 wireless microphones with direct assistance from microphone technicians in each room.
- Integration of videoconferencing equipment and high-definition projection systems.
- Signage and digital content:
- Implementation of digital signage in all rooms for the presentation of speakers and preliminary round tables.
- Development of a system of interactive screens for viewing scientific posters online.
- Presentation management:
- Remote review, uploading, and launch of 994 presentations from the central server, allowing for complete control over content and avoiding live errors.
- Team:
- A total of 24 specialized technicians managing 40 computers to ensure optimal performance at all times.
The result
Thanks to the planning, technology, and coordination of Ditec’s technical team, the conference ran with maximum efficiency and without technical incidents.
