Wireless Audioguide or Tourguide Rental
At Ditec, we normally rent this type of solution to translation companies or directly to end customers who want attendees to receive information in their mother tongue or at least that they can understand during a tour.
In cases such as a visit to a factory or space where machines or products have to be shown, there needs to be a person who translates into another language, for example, the Director of the factory or the Production Manager.
The same happens in museums to listen to the guide who explains the works and exhibitions, or on tourist tours in cities and their emblematic buildings and spaces.
Infoports and Audioguide Equipment
The wireless system that Ditec has and rents is the Sennheiser brand Infoport. Its operation is very easy, so a technician is not normally necessary with the rental (although, of course, they can be rented with a technician).
It basically consists of headphones with buttons (channels) in different languages. Depending on how many languages you want to translate, the translator will have a microphone for each language, which means that there is a translator and a microphone per translator.
For example, suppose the person doing the explanation is doing it in Chinese, and it needs to be translated into English, Spanish, and German. In that case, there will be a translator for each language with a microphone, and the participants or listeners will select one of the three channels that suit them. Hence this wireless system is also called Tourguide.

- Its collection and distribution among the attendees is comfortable since they are wireless, and there is no need to wind and unwind cables.
- The same case where they are transported serves to recharge them.
It must be said that Ditec has both analog and digital. In the latter of the latest generation, there is no type of signal or frequency interference. While being digital, the new technology minimizes all these problems that occur in all the analog systems.
