The Universitario Infanta Sofía Hospital is a public health center where the audiovisual upgrade of the auditorium/function room has been carried out.

SUCCESS STORIES

Update of the Audiovisual System of the Assembly Hall of the Universitario Infanta Sofía Hospital.

The hospital had an auditorium and an audiovisual system installed in 2007, which required an urgent update. The premise of those responsible was a design in which the system control was intuitive and agile so that a neophyte user in audiovisual systems could carry out its management from anywhere in the room.

Based on these requirements, Ditec Communications designed the project and installed and commissioned the new audio, video, and control system of the auditorium.

The new upgrade includes the provision of a Crestron NVX video distribution system based on AVoverIP technology (audio/video over IP network). In addition, different HDMI sockets have been placed in the presiding area and the control booth to be able to send the presentations to the new SONY laser projector of 9,000 lumens.

As for electro-acoustic reinforcement, the existing loudspeaker and amplification system in the room was used, and a new Yamaha TF Rack digital mixing console and Shure wireless microphones were incorporated. The complete audio system provides seamless coverage throughout the auditorium and creates a user experience that far exceeds the client’s expectations.

The Crestron control system, which allows intuitive room management, is based on a custom-designed graphical interface, implemented on both the control PC and an iPad, offering complete freedom of movement.
