Reform of meeting rooms with the latest equipment for video conferencing.
Management Meeting Room Reform
The space had 2 identical circular main rooms, NAC1 and NAC2, where the presidents and other people involved in decision-making and discussion would meet. In addition, outside the NACs and the restricted area, several meeting rooms for the different delegations would be built, and other rooms to hold press conferences, briefings, statements, communications, etc., all equipped with simultaneous translation of between 2 and 4 languages depending on the capacity and use of the room.
Up to 45 Bosch Dicentis microphones with cable per room were connected to the rest of the Dicentis system for simultaneous translation so that the interpreters had direct visualization with the attendees.
At the interpretation space level, 20 ISO 2016 booths were installed per room so that between the two main rooms, there was a capacity for 40 languages, since the two rooms were interconnected in case more languages needed to be covered.
The entire microphone system was prepared to work automatically with the camera system that was built in the center of the room. In addition, 5 Avonic cameras were installed per room so that when the presidents pressed the microphone button to speak, the corresponding camera focused on them, and the person was displayed on the 4 6x4m LED screens, installed and hung from the truss structure.
Apart from the two main meeting rooms and the rest of the scheduled rooms, Ditec ended up installing more translation systems for its own/internal use at the request of some delegations. This includes one in the United States, connecting the wireless Dicentis system to its main meeting room where President Joe Biden was located, and also another wireless Dicentis system with its translation system for the Turkish delegation, so that President Recep Erdogan and the NATO president himself could carry out internal meetings where the agreements with Sweden would come out.
