Meeting and Board Rooms
Ditec Communications has led the implementation of an advanced audiovisual integration solution in the Technip Energies Iberia S.A.U. offices located in Barcelona, allowing a successful transition from a conventional workspace to a collaborative and versatile one.
Audiovisual Integration at Technip Energies Iberia S.A.U.
At Technip Energies Iberia S.A.U., a major audiovisual integration project has been carried out as part of the refurbishment of the spaces located on floors 2 and 4 of its offices in Barcelona. This project has been developed over a period of 7 months, divided into three strategic implementation phases.
The close collaboration between Ditec technicians and the architects in charge of designing the spaces has allowed for optimal integration of the audiovisual elements essential to complete the installation of a total of 65 meeting rooms and collaboration areas, divided into:
The first two phases with delivery of:
- 23 x Bubble Room
- 18 x Medium Meeting Room
- 2 x Training Room
- 15 x Collaborative Corners
- 3 x iObeya Room
- 2 x Mini iObeya Room
A third phase, still in development and implementation, will include various types of rooms such as a Client Room, a Large Meeting Room, a Management Room, iObeya, Medium, Corners…
The project
This project has effectively transformed a conventional work environment into a collaborative space, offering the flexibility to reserve individual spaces according to the needs of employees. The variety of integrated room types guarantees a versatile environment adapted to multiple purposes:
Collaborative corners:

Installation of Samsung QM50R-B 50″ monitors with a stand to which Microsoft Wireless Display 4K devices have been incorporated for wireless content transmission.
Bubble Room:
Small meeting rooms with a capacity for 3/4 people, in which Samsung QM32R-B 32″ monitors, Logitech Brio UHD pro webcams and Jabra 410 MS speakerphones have been installed. All the devices are connected to a Lenovo docking station and the user uses a USB-C to automatically present content and gather all the audiovisual resources to hold a videoconference with any type of software-based platform.
Medium meeting room:

Rooms with a capacity of 5/10 people with different types of table (high and low). These rooms have been equipped with Samsung QM55R-B 55″ monitors and a Poly Studio bar that integrates a camera with automatic tracking, microphone and speaker. Likewise, Barco CX-30 Gen2 technology has been used as a content presentation and audiovisual resource capture system for videoconferencing. This system allows content to be presented and videoconferences to be held wirelessly via a single button connected to the user’s PC via USB C.
Mini iObeya Room:

These spaces are rooms for 5-10 people with high tables designed for dynamic collaboration. They have been equipped with Newline TT-5521IP monitors which, unlike the medium rooms, allow users to use the tactility of the monitor to manage their content using USB sockets located on the wall.
For the presentation of content, the Barco CX-30 Gen2 system has been used for wireless content presentation and a Poly Studio bar for videoconferencing.
iObeya Room:

This is a space with a capacity for 15/20 people with high, movable tables designed for dynamic collaborations. This space integrates two Newline TT-8521IP monitors with touch technology. The arrangement of these two monitors allows users to present two different contents at the same time on each of the monitors, through a Barco CX-50 Gen2 system and manage it by touch through the USB connection to the monitors.
Through a Nureva HDL300 system that provides a microphone and speaker sized to the characteristics of the room, together with a Logitech Rally PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) camera, it allows videoconferencing to be carried out wirelessly.
Training Room:

Comprising two spaces that can be used individually (two rooms) or together. Each one of them is made up of a Newline TT-8521IP touchscreen monitor with USB wall sockets, Shure MXA710 2ft ceiling microphones, two Shure MXNW5C-S ceiling speakers with DANTE technology and two AVer CAM550 cameras for focusing on different shots.
Video distribution is carried out through a Blustream CMX44CS matrix, using HDMI digital video and audio processing is managed through a Shure P300 system, DANTE.
Two Extron TLP525M control screens allow intuitive control of both rooms, including selection of mode of use, control of cameras, monitors, microphones and audio levels.

For the presentation of content, the Barco CX-50 Gen2 system has been used, which includes all the microphone and speaker resources for cloud-based videoconferencing.
