During two days of live broadcasts, a total of 23 hospitals around Europe took part, where a total of 49 surgical interventions were performed.

The cases treated are mainly middle ear surgery. This includes operations such as middle ear implants, cochlear implant techniques and cases in Neuro-Otology

Ditec Comunicaciones with its specialist brand in surgical retransmissions AIS Comunicaciones (www.aiscomunicaciones.es) equipped the operating theatres with the necessary audiovisuals for the transmission, with video and audio equipment, taking different signals such as that of a microscope to increase the image and laparoscopy equipment, which were retransmitted in composition.

All the interventions carried out in the ORL operating theatre of H.G.U.Gregorio Marañón were broadcast at the same time as the rest of the European interventions were received.
