ICANN 2018

ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) meetings are held three times a year in different regions of the world so that attendees can participate in person.

One of them is also the annual general meeting of the organization, during which new members of the Board are elected. The meetings are free of charge and some workshops and working sessions are also held offering the best opportunity for face-to-face discussions and the transmission of opinions between knowledgeable people dedicated to the stable and secure functioning of the Internet.

Ditec Comunicaciones was the company in charge of providing all the simultaneous translation interpretation system of the congress that was carried out in the CCIB (International Convention Center of Barcelona), with 17 booths in total distributed between the plenary room where there were 6 booths with 7 simultaneous languages and the other 11 booths were distributed among the other 5 subrooms.

It was supplied with more than 800 digital infrared receivers, 18 radiators, several CCU’s 2NG, DCN NG Bosch microphones, as well as the live streaming system for those who could not attend the congress.
