On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of President Francesc Macià’s birth, the Generalitat de Catalunya organized a commemorative act with the assistance of Presidents Jordi Pujol, Pascual Maragall y José Montilla among other celebrities.
Ditec Comunicaciones was responsible for the AV organization of the event, being in charge of the illumination material, simultaneous translation and plasmawalls at the Parliament’s auditorium.
During the institutional acts on September 11th, Ditec also provided a giant LED screen and installed it at the entrance of the Palau del Parlament. Ditec was in charge of carrying out the multicamera production at the presentation of the City´s Gold Medal.
The new press room is equipped with the latest technological innovations such as video wall display systems and LCD screens, image capturing and distribution system with robotized broadcast-quality cameras, a high-intelligibility audio system and digitally equipped booths for simultaneous translation. A remarkable aspect of this project is an intelligent debate system which has been integrated into the presidency seats as well as into the journalists’ desks. This system automatically regulates the speakers’ intervention turns, helping to carry out press conferences in a more intuitive and pleasant way, also allowing the intervention of diverse communication media.
The new press room was inaugurated on July 14th , and it integrates, in one single space, all the equipment needed in order to help professionals carry out their activities in the most optimal conditions. Soundproof radio rooms and TV control rooms are available, allowing TV channels to edit and broadcast images immediately after press conferences.
This audiovisual engineering project incorporates a digital signage system to show corporative information in the LCD screens distributed by the parking, offices and elevators. That installation has been done integrating screens with the architecture and design project.
The “Baronda Building” has a multipurpose room that has been equipped with a built in remote system that allows the management of the audiovisual equipment for the three independent rooms in an easy and intuitive way.
Ditec Comunuicaciones has been the company responsible of the audio-visual project for the 8th International Symposium on Endovascular Therapeutics SITE’09 witch took place in the Hotel Hilton Diagonal of Barcelona from May 7th to May 9th.
Ditec has provided all the audio-visual equipments including sound, projection, translation, speaker service centre and voting. Ditec has been also the responsible of the managing of the contents of the conferences with webcasting and with the dvd edition.
